Goodbye, Love

I bid adieu to my once most cherished.

But must we say it wasn't love just because it perished?

When it ends it doesnt mean that we should see it as it failed -
Some things in this world are just too beautiful to prevail. 

I pray you peace, progress and happiness in everything that you seek.
But you should know I prayed that God had a better plan for you and me.

Though I understand..
I know one day you too will understand.
As time frees our hearts so we can love again.
